Cryogenic spill protection
Increased use of offshore and nearshore storing and offloading of processed cryogenic fluids such as LNG, LPG, and condensates presents a unique set of risks. One of the main risks is the accidental leakage of cold product ~162°C to expose steel structures and decks leading to a brittle fracture, jet fire, and gas explosions.

We have developed and deployed a range of solutions to mitigate the risk linked to a cryogenic spill. Our ContraFlame® technology offers combined CSP and PFP or CSP only solutions to protect key structural elements including decks from cryogenic spillage and jet fire.
